The Routing Plan Database (RPD) is the new way to agree routing requirements with BT Wholesale as your spreadsheet routing plans have been migrated into RPD by your Technical Account Manager to create a complete, secure and easy to use system.
RPD boasts many advantages over the old spreadsheet files including data validation, e-mail notification of changes to yourself and your Technical Account Manager as well as all the benefits gained from having the accessibility provided by a web based service.
Since July 2005, when EBC Evolution was implemented, your routing plans have formed the basis for working out the element based charges on your conveyance invoices, as agreed at several Industry Workshops. It is now more important than ever to ensure that they are accurate and up to date. RPD will allow this to be managed more effectively.
